in the window at a flat shop vol. 5: 30/08/22 - 04/09/22

Welcome to another (the fifth) edition of ‘in the window at a flat shop’ (frome street). this week, as you might expect, it’s more outfits that are in the window/s. to be specific it’s these ones:

There’s a trick with the one on the right. which is, the back of the sweatshirt (preen x comme des garcons x 10 corso como) is patchy as shit (just like all of the anrealage cargo pants it’s been outfitted with). there’s no trick with the outfit on the left - it’s just garments with two very striking patterns (a junior gaultier ‘heart camo’ bomber and junya watanabe circle pattern skirt (from AW2001)) put together.

there’s also no trick (at least not one that’s immediately obvious) to the outfit in the second window, which is:

it’s a 1980s y’s for men yohji yamamoto wool coat (with very lovely removable liner!) with a striped, multicolour (yellow, green, red, grey?) shirt by yoshiyuki konishi (with a slightly larger than usual collar!) there really truly isn’t one, but if pressed to name a trick to this outfit it might just be how nicely the cuff of the shirt interacts with the sleeve of the coat:

but it really isn’t a trick. and this really is all for the week (in terms of what’s in the window).
